A magnetometer is located inside a big black plastic box at the Anderson farm near Osakis. Earlier this summer, Judi Anderson rolled out the box to reveal its contents: a laptop and transmission gadgetry used to collect data on the earth's magnetic field, and ultimately, collect data on the weather in space.
